Scott Venne is a fully qualified business valuator with more than 18 years of experience. Prior to joining Boon Valuations and Claims Services Inc., he was a project manager in Edmonton with the PricewaterhouseCoopers Financial Advisory Services group. His over 300 assignments have covered a broad range of business interruption claims, damage quantification, and loss of income for the insurance and legal industries. Scott’s assignments have included business interruption, shareholder disputes, personal injury and wrongful death, patent infringement, stock and contents, fraud divorce and matrimonial disputes, breach of contract, extra expense, builder’s risk and physical damage claims.
Scott has also valued businesses in a wide range of industries including retail, wholesale, oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, property development, hotels and restaurants. Scott has lectured for the Insurance Institute of Canada course on Business Interruption Insurance. He has also lectured on business interruption insurance at various in-house training sessions at major insurance companies. Scott is an alumnus of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Deloitte & Touche and the Government of Alberta (Provincial Historic Sites). |
